*HINT* Looking for a shot of you doing the BadAss pose?  Stroll through our gallery and look under the event you were part of when the picture was taken.

So just what is a "BadAss Hero"?  Is it a good thing?  You betcha!

We started this pose shortly after the program began.  The idea was to ask the first responders we came in contact with, to show their support via a special pose we "borrowed" from a few of our special troops.  The pose caught on, and now we've found a lot of BadAss Heroes out there -   Yeah, definitely a good thing!

We are amused at how often we ask for someone to do the BadAss Hero pose, and before we can adjust the camera, they have already struck the official pose.  Niiiiiice!

We've gone well beyond the original request to only first responders.  The tradition has grown to include everyone who supports our deployed troops.  While we are still sticking to our three hero categories ... Fire services, law enforcement, troops & their loved ones ... We have been told repeatedly that some of the troops consider their families, teachers, athletes, kids, and so many more, to be personal Heroes - And who are we to judge?  So, if you support the troops, do the BadAss pose for them and send it to us to post.  We'll add you to the gallery.  It's more fun and more personal than adding a magnet to your car.  ( ;

Remember ... No politics, no pro/antiwar stances.  No matter who you voted for, or how you feel about who won or lost ... We are all in this together, and together we can make huuuuge changes.

How to do the Official HeroToHero.US BadAss pose correctly ...

1.  The photographer should be down on the ground in front of said BadAsses  **This is a great way to tell who the original BadAsses in our photo gallery were - After September 28th, 2007 Liz could no longer get down low to take the shots, so the angles are different.

2.  All eyes need to be looking directly into the lens

3.  NO smiling in an official H2HBA ~ (Note to photogs: Be ready to click as soon as you tell them not to smile because inevitably this is when you get some of the best "crackup" shots.)

4.  Arms must be folded across the chest ~ Everyone.  You watch, there is always that one guy that you have to remind.  LOL

5.  Assume the air of BadAss attitude, but don't make a face, or pull your neck down into your shoulders -- Don't know why they do this, but you watch, it'll happen!.

Send us your photos by clicking on the this photo of the Oldest BadAss in the World Jack Babcock >>   **In this photo, H2H "Hot ChaCha"/Canadian Country singer Julian Austin, Firefighter Beau Jackson, & Hero To Hero Team Canada Director Kevin McHarg get a reminder message under Jack's breath that "There is no smiling in a BadAss picture!"  Cracked them all up!
